Joint Public Service Centre Project

What is the Joint Public Service Centre Project?

This project will merge the two fire control teams of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWWFRS) and will relocate the newly formed team with the South Wales Police (SWP) emergency control room at South Wales Police Headquarters in Bridgend, known as the Public Service Centre. The benefits of this project will be an improved level of service delivery to the public and a financial saving of over £1m per annum. It is planned for the newly formed team to be operational by April 2016. An email address dedicated to the project has been created. If you have any questions, comments or would like to contact us about the project please email psc-fireproject@mawwfire.gov.uk
